Cockpit Project

I started out with the side consoles, since I needed to verify the overall dimensions before I begin the center console.

The side consoles are basically frames in the shape of a rectangle.  I chose .75" aluminum channel as the frame material.  These are mounted with 6" aluminum stays to provide a total width of approximately 8".  This is a close-up of the stays.  More details will follow:

Here is the finished frame, ready for the panels.  Dimensions are 36"x18"x8"
