Foregrip Rail

This is a relatively simple modification to a Saiga foregrip.  This is a Saiga .223 factory foregrip from my AK-101 clone.

The rail was purchased (of all places) from Amazon.  I do not know if it is a "paintball quality" grip, but it seems very solid.  There are several versions, and this version is the cheaper model - $8 total with aluminum rail.

The rail comes with mounting ferrules that would be inserted into wood or plastic with a wide flange that stays on the back side and secures the rail in place.  The only thing I had to do to the foregrip was drill two holes along the center to secure it in place.  It was that easy.

The grip is secured to the rail via a cross-bolted screw.  The grip is hollow, but from the factory the cap has a plastic spacer that needs to be cut off to allow for storage.  It comes with an O-ring.

For $8 and about 20 minutes of time, this is a great modification!
